The HR Manager will team with our existing staff, ensuring smooth processes and operations. This role plugs into many functions of HR including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance.
☻ Coordinate company-wide recruiting effort including resume screening, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and follow-up.
☻ Assist with onboarding new hires, including offer letter processing, start day coordination, processing new hire paperwork.
☻ Advise and assist fellow teammates in all departments on company procedures and ensure compliance at all times.
☻ Coordinate employee events.
☻ Take on projects as needed such as researching more efficient ways to do what we're doing.
☻ Develop, update and execute training programs within all functional areas.
☻ Respond to questions from employees about policies and HR programs.
☻ Conduct data analysis in partnership with the team related to many different activities.
☻ Conduct goal setting and performance reviews for the entire organization.
☻ Maintain relationships and schedules with target educational institutions.
☻ 2 - 5 years experience in the core HR functions above.
☻ Experience handling employee programs and issues.
☻ Bachelor's degree (major or coursework in HR preferred).
☻ Strong interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills, superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
☻ Ability to present to a large number of employees and interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
☻ Prior experience and proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, high growth, start-up environment preferred.
☻ Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work on time.
☻ Demonstrated ability to keep information confidential and commitment to producing high-quality work.
☻ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
